Welcome to Susie's Place, your vacation
getaway in Soldotna, Alaska.


Susie's Place is a delightfully cozy vacation cottage with all the amenities of home.
With room for up to six, it is loaded with Alaskan charm.  It  features a full kitchen
with cookware and utensils, coffeemaker,  washer, dryer, BBQ, and satellite TV.  For
those who fish, there are boot racks and dryers for wet gear out on the large covered
porch. Although nestled in a wooded area, town is just a couple miles down the
road. Sound appealing?  We are currently booking for the 2007 season and beyond
and would love to have you stay with us. Just let us know what you are looking for
and we can advise you on the multitude of recreational activities this area offers.
Salmon fishing on the local rivers, fly out trips to more remote areas, salt water
fishing for several species, bear viewing and wildlife cruises are all available within
a short distance.  Hope to hear from you soon.

Susie and Greg Vane are longtime Alaskan residents who, like many, fell in love
with Alaska's natural beauty and the Kenai peninsula's rural charm and fantastic
fishing.  After several years working as a health care provider in the Alaskan
bush, Susie returned to Soldotna in '02 to continue her medical practice. Greg,
meanwhile, has been a fishing guide for over 9 years, having taken thousands of
clients in search of Alaska's phenomenal game fish. Together they offer their
guests a comfortable, hospitable, place to stay while exploring the Kenai
Peninsula and beyond.
